The Economic Coordination Committee’s (ECC) meeting had to be postponed on Wednesday following Federal Minister for Finance Shaukat Tarin quarantined himself after he tested positive for the coronavirus, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.  

Sanjrani inquires after Tarin:

Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani telephoned Tarin and inquired after him. 

He also prayed for the immediate recovery of the finance minister. 

Yesterday (Tuesday, January 18, 2022), 24News had reported that Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) Chief Minister Khalid Khurshid had quarantined himself following he tested positive for the coronavirus. 

It is pertinent to mention here that Khurshid had met with Punjab CM Sardar Usman Buzdar and Punjab Minister for Education Dr. Yasmin Rashid only a day before on Monday (January 17).
