Shahid Afridi announces charity match to help Dadu’s flood-hit people

Boom Boom cricketer and former Pakistan cricket team captain Shahid Afridi Thursday reached Dadu where he announced organising a charity match for the rehabilitation of the flood-hit people, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The former Pakistan skipper made this announcement during a meeting with Dadu Deputy Commissioner Syed Murtaza Ali Shah at the Deputy Commissioner’s House.
The Shahid Afridi Foundation will organise a charity match at Dadu Municipal Stadium for the rehabilitation of the flood-affected people.
Renowned national cricketers will participate in the match.

Shahid Afridi also agreed to play an active role in helping the flood victims along with the district administration and Pakistan Army.
Lieutenant Colonel (Lt-Col) Ejaz Karim and Dadu Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dr Abdul Khaliq Pirzada were also present in the meeting.
