Pakistan and China held a virtual meeting between their special representatives on Afghanistan to discuss the evolving regional situation and security challenges.

Pakistan’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, Mohammad Sadiq Khan, shared details of the meeting in a post on X, stating that the discussion was held with China’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, Ambassador Yu Xiaoyong.

According to Mohammad Sadiq Khan, the meeting focused on the latest regional developments, with particular emphasis on the security situation and the ongoing threat of terrorism in the region.

He said both sides reiterated their commitment to continued mutual cooperation aimed at promoting regional stability.

The virtual engagement reflects ongoing coordination between Pakistan and China on Afghanistan-related issues amid complex regional dynamics.
