Rihanna wears a $3,200 designer outfit to support boyfriend A$AP Rocky at SNL

Rihanna made a striking late-night appearance in New York City on Saturday, once again proving her status as a fashion force while stepping out to support her longtime partner A$AP Rocky during his Saturday Night Live performance.

The 37-year-old superstar, who had also been seen out the night before, was photographed heading to the iconic show where Rocky, also 37, served as the musical guest. Rihanna leaned into high-fashion winter layering, wearing a cream Yves Saint Laurent windbreaker priced at $3,200, paired with a textured black skirt that fell just below the knee. She completed the look with statement knee-high boots featuring contrasting tan suede and black leather panels.

Adding drama and warmth, the mother of three draped herself in a plush tan-and-brown fur coat. She nodded to Rocky’s New York roots by wearing a black New York Yankees cap, allowing her long dark hair to cascade freely beneath it.

Inside Studio 8H, A$AP Rocky unveiled new music, debuting tracks from his upcoming album Don’t Be Dumb during the live broadcast.

The record marks his fourth studio album and his first full-length release in eight years.

While fans eagerly await Rocky’s return, anticipation is arguably even higher for Rihanna’s own musical comeback. The global icon has not released an album since 2016’s Anti, having shifted her focus to business ventures and family life. However, momentum appears to be building behind the scenes.

Reports suggest she has been quietly planning a new tour since August and is expected to officially announce upcoming shows soon. According to a source quoted by The Sun, "Rihanna is raring to go and cannot wait to get back on the road. She had to cancel her shows planned at the London Stadium last summer because she was expecting her daughter. But the cancellation couldn't have worked more in her favor. This month she will celebrate the tenth anniversary of Anti, which coincides with a decade since she last toured, so it feels massive to her and her team."

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, have been together since 2020. In late 2025, they welcomed their third child, a daughter named Rocki. Rihanna announced the birth with an Instagram post on September 24, sharing a single image of herself cradling the sleeping newborn, who was dressed in a pink onesie and frilly pink socks.

In the photo, Rihanna was adorned with luxury jewelry, including an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch valued at nearly $100,000 on the resale market, a Renato Cipullo R pendant, a Marie Lichtenberg ruby pendant, and an XIVKARATS “mom” ring. The couple are already parents to sons RZA, three, and Riot, two. Rihanna first revealed she was expecting her third child during a show-stopping appearance at the 2025 Met Gala last May.
