Mohsin Naqvi lauds U-16 volleyball heroes after historic victory

Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Mohsin Naqvi extended his heartfelt congratulations to the U-16 volleyball team, who etched their name in history by clinching the Asian U-16 Volleyball Championship title for the first time, defeating defending champions Iran in a thrilling five-set final.

In a message, Naqvi said, “It is a proud and inspiring moment for the entire country. The way our U-16 team fought back and defeated the reigning champions Iran is truly commendable. Shabash, champions!”

He further praised the resilience and spirit shown by the green shirts, emphasizing that their victory would inspire many across the nation.

Key contributors to the win included Junaid, who top-scored with 28 points, followed by Faizan with 22, Talha with 9, and Muhammad Irfan, who added 8 points.
