Policeman killed in Karachi encounter, another in accident

A policeman was martyred in an encounter with criminals near Northern Bypass in Karachi’s Surjani Town on Friday.

Later, a police van, which was taking more personnel to the encounter scene, turned turtle, killing a sub-inspector at the scene. Surjani Town SHO Sharafat Khan and three other policemen were injured in this accident. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
