Four female teachers got injured when some unidentified assailants opened fire on their school van in the Parangabad area of Mastung, Quetta, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Four female teachers were coming back from their school Dash Baba after completing their duty when their van came under the hail of bullets in the Parangabad area in Mastung. Four teachers sustained injuries in the firing incident.

The injured teachers have been shifted to Nawab Ghaus Bakhsh Raisani Memorial Hospital.

Mastung is at one hour distance from the provincial capital Quetta. According to the Pakistan District Education Rankings 2017, district Mastung is ranked at number 74 out of the 141 ranked districts in Pakistan on the education score index. The index considered learning, gender parity and retention in the district.
