District court directs NA employee to return Rs7.8 million with lawyer’s fee to victim

 District and Session Court Islamabad has directed National Assembly’s employee, who had obtained 7.8 million rupees from a local citizen for providing him government job, to return the amount along with lawyer’s fee, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

Additional District and Session Judge Rana Mujahid Rahim issued an order. 

The court said written agreement was signed between accused Faiza Yaseen and citizen Naveed Ashiq but the accused failed to provide him the job. After it the accused failed to provide the job, her brother provided a cheque to the victim Naveed Ashiq which was bounced, on which a case was filed against Faiza Yasin in the court. 

The accused admitted the agreement and issuance of cheque and her counsel could not present effective defense arguments. 

Citizen Naveed Ashiq had got registered a case against the accused Faiza Yasin and her brother Faraz Yasin at Kohsar Police Station on September 25, 2024.
