Bilawal Bhutto Zardari meets Samina Khalid Ghurki in Lahore to discuss party affairs

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, Tuesday visited the residence of senior party leader Samina Khalid Ghurki in Lahore and held detailed discussions on the country’s political situation and internal party matters.

Party leaders reviewed organizational affairs, future strategy and political engagement in the provincial capital, with a particular focus on the activities of the PPP Women’s Wing in Central Punjab.

Ghurki, a former federal minister and member of the National Assembly, has previously served as president of the PPP Women’s Wing (Central Punjab). Her residence in Lahore has frequently hosted party meetings and political consultations.

The visit was described as part of efforts to strengthen the party’s organization and presence in Lahore.

In December 2025, Asif Ali Zardari had also visited Ghurki’s residence to congratulate her on her son’s marriage and commended her services to the party and her role in parliament.
