CTD official martyred in Turbat shooting

A Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) official was martyred after unknown armed men opened fire in the Malikabad area of Turbat, according to police sources.

The martyred official was identified as Shabbir Ahmed Askani. Police said the attackers fled the scene after the firing incident.

Following the attack, the body of the deceased official was shifted to a nearby hospital for postmortem examination.

Law enforcement agencies have launched an investigation to determine the motives behind the incident and to trace those involved in the attack, police sources added.
