CTD Hyderabad arrests two terrorists linked to Fitna-ul-Hindustan

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Hyderabad carried out a successful intelligence-based operation in the Qasimabad area, arresting two terrorists affiliated with the banned outfit Fitna-ul-Hindustan, officials confirmed on Sunday.

According to CTD officials, a large amount of terror financing funds was recovered from the suspects, along with key documentary evidence and receipt boxes proving their connection to the militant network.

The arrested men are reportedly involved in the April 2025 armed attack on a CTD Hyderabad mobile unit at Lonikot, Jamshoro, during which the suspects opened fire on law enforcement personnel.

CTD officials also stated that the weapons used in that attack were recovered during the latest raid.

Authorities said the operation marks a significant breakthrough in ongoing efforts to dismantle the network of Fitna-ul-Hindustan and to curb terror financing activities in Sindh. Further investigation is underway.
