The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Pakistan on Friday promoted 450 employees from grade 5 to 6. 

According to a notification issued by CAA HR Director Malik Mazhar, 151 employees who got the promotion belonged to the Vigilance Department. Moreover, 71 promoted employees were from the Fire Department, 21 from the Air Control Department, 19 from SQMS Department, 11 from the Audit Department and two from the Communication Departments. The joint action committee had demanded promotion for the employees participating in the protest. The CAA accepted the demand and notified the promotions.
