Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has said the carelessness of Shahbaz Sharif can be witnessed that one-third of the country is swept by the ravaging floods and he has left for abroad, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.

Addressing a crowded rally at Chakwal on Monday, he said Shehbaz Sharif will not achieve anything from his US visit.

“If Zardari, Nawaz Sharif, and Shehbaz Sharif bring back even half of the stolen money, then there is no need to ask anyone.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the floods have wreaked havoc in Balochistan and Sindh and flood survivors are facing difficulties.  “People's crops have been destroyed by flood water and farmers are not able to sow crops due to water accumulated in the fields,” he added.

He said that Sindh is being ruled by PPP for the last 14 years, the government has not yet completed the Right Bank Canal along the Indus River. The thieves of Sindh have transferred the allocated funds of Right Bank Canal project to Dubai, he alleged.

The former PM went on to say that the economy was flourishing during his tenure when his government was overthrown through a conspiracy. “They run a propaganda campaign against my government with the help of their paid media houses that the country’s economy was sinking during my tenure. Later, everything had proved wrong” he said.

Imran Khan said the power tariff has been increased three-fold since the PML-N-led government came into power. He said Maryam Nawaz always told a lie. He said PTI collected 14 billion rupees for flood victims through three telethons.

Likewise, the prices of other commodities including flour and rice have also witnessed an exorbitant increase during the last five months, he added.

“People have been crushed under the inflation… country’s economy grew at the highest rate in 17 years during my tenure,” he added.

Imran said the nation and Allah will not forgive the traitors for subjecting the country to oppression by imposing thieves upon the masses.

The PTI chief said his government left the current account deficit of 16 billion dollars but also increased the country’s income to 63 billion dollars.

He asked the participants of rally to get ready and when I call you, you have to go out with me to achieve real freedom.

The former prime minister said that according to the UN report, the heads of poor countries steal money and buy big palaces in London.  Secretary General of the United Nations knows everything about Shahbaz Sharif, he added.
