PML-N decides to give tough time to PPP

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz had a virtual meeting to ponder over the current political situation and strategy to continue with the anti-government campaign, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).

The main opposition party decided to give a tough time to the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and it will intensify the anti-government campaign after Eid, sources said on Thursday. 

The insiders said former premier Nawaz Sharif presided over the meeting from London while ex-PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi chaired the meeting from Pakistan.

Nawaz urged local party leaders to be in touch with other PDM parties the anti-government campaign could be vigorous, the sources said, adding that he gave the talk of heading mass contact campaign to Mian Javed Latif. He stressed people should be motivated first.
