Rupee hits record 10-month low against US dollar

The rate of US dollar at the inter-bank market increased by 1.24 paisas on Monday to reach Rs163.67 at the closing time of the inter-bank market, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The Pakistani rupee dropped to its lowest value against the US dollar in almost ten months after a 0.76 percent fall in inter-bank trading. Forex dealers said last time the dollar’s price had reached Rs163.35 on October 15, 2020. They further said that the dollar’s price at the interbank market had increased by Rs6.13 since July 1, 2021. On July 1, its price was Rs157.54.
