The number of members of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) rose from six to seven when Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday added another member to it, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

Sources told 24News that the committee’s new member was Federal Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain.

They informed that Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb would remain the committee chairman.

The committee consists of federal ministers for trade, power, petroleum, economic affairs and planning.
