Anchorperson Imran Riaz Khan was arrested from Lahore Airport by FIA officials when he was about to depart for Dubai in the early hours of Thursday, reported News24HD TV channel.

Imran Riaz was shifted to Cybercrime Wing Gulberg office in Lahore.

The anchorperson was not allowed to board the Dubai-bound flight due to his name in the black list. He was arrested after a case was registered against him under Cybercrime Act.

Imran Riaz will be presented in FIA court later.

A video shared by PTI’s official Twitter account shows the journalist at FIA’s cybercrime office.
