Ogra cuts LPG price by Rs12.71 per kilo

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) on Sunday announced a Rs12.71 cut in the per kilo price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

With the latest price cut, LPG will be sold at Rs129.67 per kilo. Also, domestic consumers will save Rs150 on purchase of each cylinder. The price of a domestic cylinder has been decreased from Rs1,680 to Rs1,530. A notification in this regard has been issued.

Earlier on Saturday, the government announced a cut in the prices of petroleum products. According to a notification issued by the Finance Ministry, petrol price was cut by Rs5 per litre and the new price was set at Rs111.60 per litre. The price of high speed diesel was decreased by Rs5 per litre and the new price was set at Rs122.260. The price of light diesel was cut by Rs7 per litre and the new price was set at Rs77.51 per litre. The price of kerosene oil was cut by Rs7 per litre and the new price was set at Rs92.45 per litre. The new prices became effective Saturday midnight.
