PM takes allied parties leaders into confidence on TLP agreement

PM will get legal experts briefing on legal position of the TLP demands

Prime Minister Imran Khan Tuesday took the leaders of his allied parties into confidence on the issue of agreement with the banned religious party the Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP).

According to the 24News HD TV channel, leaders of the allied parties of the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government called on PM Imran in Islamabad on Tuesday.

In the meeting with the allied parties leadership, the PM discussed the political and economic situation in the country and took them into confidence on some important issues.

The PM has also decided to hold an exclusive meeting with his legal experts’ team to get a briefing about the demands of the TLP.

The report said that Federal Minister for Law Farogh Naseem would lead the legal experts’ team of the government to give a detailed briefing on the issue of the TLP demands.
