Following in the footsteps of his seniors, another Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Umar skipped appearance before the inquiry committee of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) formed to investigate the audio leaks about the cipher, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

PTI General Secretary Asad Umar had been summoned before the FIA’s inquiry committee at 12 o'clock on Wednesday, but he skipped the scheduled appearance.

Earlier, former foreign minister and senior PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi had also skipped appearance before the FIA’s inquiry team.

Qureshi, along with former principal secretary Azam Khan, had been summoned before the FIA’s inquiry committee on Tuesday, but neither of them appeared.
