A Toronto-bound flight of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has been delayed due to technical reasons, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The flight PK-781 which was set to leave Islamabad International Airport for Toronto at 10:55 am on Friday was halted due to technical issues.

According to sources, the passengers were offloaded from the plane and shifted to the lounge.

PIA officials said technical reasons were behind the delay in the flight.
