Sindh govt seals three industrial units violating SOPs amid lockdown

Sindh government on Monday sealed three industrial units in Korangi including two medicine making factories and one tea-factory on violating SOPs to run factories amid lockdown imposed due to the pandemic coronavirus.
Sindh spokesperson Murtaza Wahab said these industrial units were violating the SOPs made by Sindh Home Department and did not maintain the social distancing while providing the transportation for workers.
He warned that the industrial sector must not use the relaxation wrongfully amid COVID-19, reported 24NewsHd TV Channel.
Korangi Deputy Commissioner led the raid against the violators.
He tweeted, “Civil Administration of Korangi has sealed one factory for violating the SOPs issued by #SindhGovt”
In another tweet, Sindh spokesperson sharing the latest data, there are 2767 positive cases (new cases 227) and 635 people recovered while so far 61 deaths reported.
