Says Pakistan respects Afghanistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity

Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar said Wednesday that attacks on the Pakistani security forces from Afghanistan a matter of concern, adding Pakistan respected the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Afghanistan.
She stated these remarks during a meeting with Special Representative for Afghanistan Ambassador Muhammad Sadiq at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Additional Secretary Afghanistan Affairs Amir Aftab Qureshi and Director General Afghanistan Affairs Asif Memon were also present on the occasion.
Ambassador Muhammad Sadiq gave a detailed briefing to Hina Rabbani Khar on the law and order situation in Afghanistan and the region.
“The incidents of targeting Pakistani security forces from Afghanistan are a matter of concern,” says Hina Rabbani Khar.
“Pakistan respects Afghanistan’s independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity,” she added and stated that a stable and peaceful Afghanistan was of utmost importance for Pakistan.
“Pakistan is determined to continuing its efforts for peace in the region including Afghanistan,” she declared.
