Pakistan expands Eurobond size to $750m amid rising investor confidence
Pakistan has increased the size of its Eurobond issuance by $250 million, taking the total volume from $500 million to $750 million, the Finance Ministry said on Monday.
The ministry attributed the decision to stronger-than-expected investor confidence, which led to increased demand in international financial markets.
Earlier, Pakistan had launched a $500 million Eurobond, marking its return to global capital markets after a gap of four years.
Officials said the enhanced subscription reflects improving investor sentiment towards Pakistan’s economic outlook and reform measures.
The Finance Ministry noted that the successful expansion of the bond size signals renewed access to international financing channels, which is expected to support the country’s external financing needs.
