13-year-old boy drowns in river Jhelum

A 13-year-old boy drowned in the Jhelum River while taking a bath near Jhelum city on Saturday, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

The rescue sources said the boy identified as Nasir Khan was bathing in the Jhelum when he drowned.

Rescue 1122 officials retrieved the body and handed over the same to his heirs after completing the necessary formalities.
