Punjab University for strict implementation of dress code

Punjab University (PU) Vice-Chancellor (VC) Dr Mohammad Ali has issued directive for strict implementation of the dress code on the University’s premises, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
A student who is found wearing shorts will not be allowed to enter the University’s premises. A complete ban is also imposed on wearing shorts in classrooms, departments, grounds, and residential areas of the University.
After receiving the new directives, security guards deputed at the entry gates are ordered not to allow such students to enter the University who were wearing shorts.
