Pakistan reports 6 more coronavirus deaths, 359 new cases

Pakistan reported 6 more coronavirus deaths and 359 new cases that emerged during the last 24 hours (Sunday), showed the data released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Monday morning.
According to the statistics released by NCOC, after the addition of 6 new deaths, the toll has now surged to 28,878, which represents a ratio of 2.2 percent.
The positivity ratio of the coronavirus cases in Pakistan reaches 0.83 percent, as 359 new coronavirus cases emerged in the last 24 hours after conducting 43,242 tests. It takes the total cases tally to 1,291,467.

The number of active cases in the country is 9,588 with 666 patients in critical condition.
There were 3548 more recoveries recorded in the last 24 hours as the number of total recovered cases reached 1,253,001 with a 97% recovery rate.
Punjab, the most populous province of the country, has reported 52 new cases in the last 24 hours, taking the provincial tally to 443,886 with 2,735 active cases. In Punjab, 1 more patient died of coronavirus as the death toll reached 13,059. With 241 new recoveries, 444,216 patients have recovered from the virus in Punjab so far.
Sindh has recorded 236 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the provincial tally to 479,326 with 5,741 active cases. Three new deaths related to the deadly disease were reported as the death toll in Sindh reached 7,652. With 67 new recoveries, 465,933 patients have recovered from the virus in the province so far.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has recorded 35 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the tally to 181,011 with 700 active cases. The province reported 2 new virus-related deaths as the death toll reached 5,909. With 16 new recoveries, 174,402 patients have recovered from the virus in the province so far.
Balochistan recorded 7 new cases as the tally remained 33,558 with 47 active cases. The province reported no new death as the death toll reached 363. With 2 new recoveries, 33,148 patients have recovered from the virus in the province so far.
Islamabad has recorded 26 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the tally to 108,285 with 299 active cases. With no new death reported in the Federal Capital, the death toll remained 964. With 25 new recoveries, the number of recovered patients is 107,022 in the federal capital so far.
Azad Jammu and Kashmir
Azad Jammu and Kashmir has recorded 2 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the tally to 34,642 with 52 active cases. With no new death reported, the death toll remains at 745. There were 3 new recoveries in the AJK as 33,845 patients have recovered so far from the virus.
Gilgit-Baltistan recorded one new case during the last 24 hours, as the tally reached 10,429 with 14 active cases. With no new death reported in the province, the death toll remains at 186. There was also no new recovery reported as the number of patients recovered from the deadly disease reached 10,229.
