Yasir Shah in deep water as booked in aiding rape

A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against Pakistan national cricketer Yasir Shah for aiding the rape and harassment of an underage girl, while the close friend Farhan is accused of sexual assault, reporter 24NewsHD TV on Monday.
An FIR (Case No.563) has been lodged at Islamabad’s Shalimar police station against the friend of Pakistan cricket team leg-spinner Yasir Shah under rape and other provisions by the victim's aunt while serious allegations have also been levelled against Yasir Shah in the FIR.
Yasir Shah's friend Farhan increased his friendship with the victim by using his mobile number and also talked to Yasir Shah on WhatsApp, according to the text of FIR.
According to the text of the FIR filed by the victim's aunt Sameera, she went to Lahore with her niece Farah on June 1, 2021, at the invitation of Yasir Shah. On her way back, Farhan put her in a taxi on the way. Farhan took her to a private flat no 409, abused her at gunpoint and made a video.
According to the text, Farhan threatened to make the video viral if she told anyone. On Farhan’s request, Yasir also threatened the niece. The cricketer threatened that he is a big player and would drag the victim in any case.
According to Farah, Farhan blackmailed her and took her to a private cafe and raped her again. She added, when approached by Yasir Shah through WhatsApp call, Yasir Shah said that he is currently in West Indies. If you let Farhan marry Farah, both of us will continue to work.
It is relevant to mention, Police have confirmed the registration of the case and started an investigation into the incident.
