Former President and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari Monday visited Nawabshah and announced starting Solar-Home-Program in Sindh.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, Zardari attended a luncheon hosted by Member Provincial Assembly Tariq Masood Arain and addressed the workers.

He said the Sindh government had already solarized 35 major hospitals in the province with the help of the World Bank and now they were going to be started a solar programme for homes.

Zardari said steps were being taken to provide facilities to the people in hospitals. The PPP government is providing free medical treatment to the people in Sindh, Zardari said.

The PPP leader said the people were being oppressed by the increase in petroleum products, adding that due to the failed policies of PTI, petrol prices have to be increased again and again.
