Punjab govt issues list of banned organizations

The Government of Punjab on Friday issued a list of banned, unregistered charity organizations and advised general public not to give their Zakat, donations, and charities to these organizations, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

These organizations include Sipah-e-Sahaba, Tahreek-e-Jafaria, Tehreek Nafaz Shariat-e-Mohammadi, Tehreek-e-Islami, Al-Qaida, Millat Islamia, Khudamul Islam, Islami Tahreek, Jamiatul Ansar, Jamaatul Furqan, Hizbul Tahreer, Khairun Nas Trust, BLA, and other organizations.

Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, Sipah Muhammad, Jaish-e-Muhammad, Al-Rahmat Trust, Al-Furqan Trust, and Lashkar-e-Taiba, Balochistan Liberation Front, Lashkar Balochistan, Balochistan Liberation United Front, Balochistan Armed Defense Organization, Shia Students Action Committee Gilgit are among the banned organizations.

The banned organizations include the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan, Islamic Jihad Union, 313 Brigade, Tehreek-e-Taliban Bajaur, Amr Bil Ma'ruf Wa Nahi An Munkar (Haji Namdar Group), Baloch Students.

United Baloch Army, Jai Sindh United Front, ISIS, Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi Al-Alam, Ansar-ul-Hussain, Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Movement, Jundullah, Al-Rahmat Welfare Trust Organization.

Jamaat-ud-Dawa, Al-Anfal Trust Lahore, Idara Khidmat-e-Khalq Lahore, Al-Dawa-ul-Irshad Pakistan Lahore, Al-Hamd Trust Lahore/Faisalabad, Mosque and Welfare Trust Lahore, Al-Madinah Foundation Lahore, Muaz Bin Jabal Educational Trust Lahore.

The non-existent organizations include Khatam al-Anbiya, Ghazi Force, Zainabiyun Brigade, Majeed Brigade, Hafiz Gul Bahadur Group, Pashtun Tahafuz Movement, and Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan.

Ghulam-e-Sahaba, Maymar Trust, Sachal Sarmast Welfare Trust Karachi, Al-Jaza Patient Welfare Society Karachi, Al-Akhtar Trust, Al-Rashid Trust.

The people are urged to report donations collected by banned organizations on the toll-free number 080011111 or the helpline number 04299213871
