Condemnations of Lahore blast pour in

The Lahore blast that ripped through the busy Anarkali Bazar on Thursday in which two people lost their lives and 28 others sustained injuries was widely condemned by the politicians and party heads, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari condemned the Lahore blast. They expressed their heart-felt grievances and sympathy with the heirs of the deceased and called upon the need to immediately arrest the terrorists and planners of this dastardly act.
Bilawal urged the Punjab government to provide immediate medical facilities to the injured.
PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif in his tweet said: “I am deeply sorry and grieved on the loss of precious lives in the blast that targeted the heart of Lahore and historic place Anarkali. Innocent children and poor people became prey in this explosion which is condemnable. I pay my heart-felt condolences to the family members of the blast victims. Terrorism in Lahore after Islamabad is a bad omen.”

Maryam Nawaz also condemned the blast in her tweet.
She wrote: “Blast in a crowded and busy place like Anarkali is extremely condemnable and worrisome incident. Three people died including a child and scores of others sustained injuries. May Allah have mercy on them, on their family members and on Pakistan.”

Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid while condemning the Lahore blast demanded report on the blast from the Punjab government. He expressed his grief over the loss of lives and prayed for the fast recovery of the injured.
PML-Q leader Ch Shujaat Hussain, Punjab Assembly Speaker Ch Pervaiz Elahi and Federal Minister for Water Resources Ch Moonis Elahi condemned the Anarkali blast.
They said that it was an attempt to vitiate the peace of the city and demanded immediate arrest and exemplary punishment of the culprits who were behind this terror act. They prayed for the forgiveness of the souls of the deceased and speedy recovery of the wounded.
