Green Line Train to resume operations on Jan 27

Pakistan Railway has announced to resume of the ‘Green Line’ passenger train operations from Islamabad to Karachi on January 27 with new coaches and best arrangements.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the train is comprised of two AC parlors, five AC business, six AC standards, and four to five economy class coaches which will facilitate the passengers on the route.
The train will take less than 20 hours from Lahore to Karachi which would restore the confidence of the passengers in the national railways.
It has also been decided to provide the best traveling facilities in the Green Line train including the provision of high-quality food, Wi-Fi and keeping the ticket price at an affordable level.
Besides, a separate LCD will be installed on each seat of the AC Parlor to let passengers enjoy their favorite videos through headphones.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Green Line Train was scheduled to start operations on December 20 last but due to some financial and other issues, it would now start operations on January 27.
