Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership has taken a unanimous decision to return National Assembly and join the session on January 27.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the PTI leadership has started consultation meetings to save their seats in the House.
The sources said the PTI leadership also considered different aspects of their return to the National Assembly or getting the way of acceptance of resignations.
The sources said the PTI is keen to play an effective role in the caretaker setup formation as it thinks that it is an anti-democratic act of the government to keep the popular party of the country away from the most important process.
The sources said the PTI leadership has also agreed to attend the NA session directly instead of holding meetings with the Speaker for accepting their resignations.
The PTI leadership has also made a decision to demand the nomination of an opposition leader in the House during the NA session on January 27, the sources said.
The PTI leadership also considered the strategy of dealing with the matter if Imran Khan is disqualified and removed from the party chairmanship, the sources said adding that the senior leadership has the decision to thwart every attempt of the government in this regard.
The sources said the PTI leaders have also agreed to change the organizational structure of the party to maintain the leadership of Imran Khan and the party constitution will also be amended with the approval of the general council.
