PSB summons PAF officebearers on Jan 23 for hearing their appeals

The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has summoned Pakistan Athletics Federation (PAF) President Wajahat Hussain and other officials on January 23 for hearing appeals in board meeting, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Shahida Khanum, Humaira Mahmood, Tariq Sidhu and other officials have also been directed to appear in the board meeting.

PSB Board will decide on Athletics Federation appeals.

PSB Adjudicator has declared Athletics Federation elections unconstitutional.

Board meeting has been called after Athletics Federation's stay order was vacated by Islamabad High Court.

Islamabad High Court had rejected the writ petition and sent the matter to PSB Board.

PSB Board has been directed to decide on the appeal as per the rules.

Appeal against Salman Iqbal Butt will also be heard in the board meeting on January 23.

Coach Salman Butt has also been issued a notice of PSB Board meeting.
