63 more Pakistanis return home after release from Saudi jails

Another 63 Pakistani citizens returned home after being released from jails of Saudi Arab, reported 24News HD TV channel on Tuesday.
They reached at Islamabad Airport on a special flight of Pakistan Airline and expressed delight on the efforts of the Pakistani government for their pardon.
Pakistani prisoners were detained in minor crimes in Saudi Arabia and were released on the special courtesy of King Shah Salman and Prince Muhammad Bin Salman.
Prime Minister Imran Khan during his last visit to Ramazan had raised the issue of jailed Pakistani labourers with the high ups of Saudi Arabia that were acknowledged with honour.
Ministry of Overseas Pakistan, Foreign Office, and Pakistan Embassy in Saudi Arab paid vital role in the release of the jailed Pakistanis.
On their release, Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has said that release of these Pakistani citizens from Saudi Arab jails was a result of PM Imran Khan’s personal efforts.

In a tweet, he said that no previous government had shown the same feeling for Pakistanis abroad as Imran Khan did.
