Senior journalists and political analysts has seconded PM stance on solution to Afghanistan as per the aspiration of local people.

During 24NewsHD programme - DNA - the noted figures Salim Bokhari, PJ Mir, Iftikhar Ahmed and Javed Iqbal seconded the PM's stance that only political government can ensure solution to Afghanistan according to Afghans.

They termed the alleged abduction of the Afghan ambassador's daughter a conspiracy to defame Pakistan, observing that investigative agencies had proved contradictions in her statement.

About PM Imran's directives to his party parliamentarians and workers to prepare for election, Chief Editor 24NewsHD Salim Bokhari said such instructions hint at early election.

Citing nine defeats of ruling PTI candidates in by-elections, he observed that the people showed their anger at the government's performance.

He said the government of PM Imran Khan will go for all-out tactics to clinch victory in the AJK elections while all the corner meetings of Maryam Nawaz would be proved useless.

PJ Mir raised the issue of draining contaminated water into in the sea in Karachi putting marine life at risk.

He recalled that in reply to his question about lack of development schemes in Sindh, ex-CM Arbab Ghulam Rahim said that the bureaucracy was scared of NAB to do any development work.

At this, Salim Bokhari said that the bureaucracy had not stopped work but wanted written orders from the government on every development project.

Iftikhar Ahmed urged all public institutes and departments to work under their domains.

Javed Iqbal foresaw possibility of health issues if people don’t dispose of remains of sacrificial animals properly during monsoon spell.

The DNA participants also discussed the performance of Pakistani national cricket team and their visit to the UK.

PJ Mir suggested cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan keep an eye on the the Pakistan Cricket Board so that the board could deliver and the national team could perform.

Saleem Bokhari said cricketer Babar Azam was showing his best but burdening him with captaincy landed him in trouble. He also questioned the role of the selection committee in the team selection.

DNA is being broadcast from Monday to Thursday at 11pm.
