CM Maryam Nawaz and Nawaz Sharif head to Dunga Gali for political consultation
In a major political development ahead of the Senate elections, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, accompanied by her father and PML-N President Mian Nawaz Sharif, departed from Murree to Dunga Gali on Sunday.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, a high-level consultative meeting is expected to take place in Dunga Gali to deliberate on the country's political situation and formulate a strategy for the upcoming Senate elections.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and senior PML-N leader Hamza Shehbaz are already present in Dunga Gali, having arrived earlier to prepare for the crucial political dialogue.
The Senate elections are scheduled to be held tomorrow, with key vacant seats to be filled—a development seen as pivotal for the power dynamics in the upper house of Parliament.
