A group of people were apprehended from Rang Mahal area of Lahore while making fake/adulterated disinfectants.

Manufacturers of Dettol, Reckitt Benckiser (RB), with the help of relevant agencies, apprehended the group.

According to details, a video went viral of preparing fake adulterated Dettol, after which Reckitt Benckiser (RB) Pakistan took the steps with the help of brand protection authorities, exposing the fake group.

In the period of COVID-19, the demand for health and hygiene products has seen a surge.

Taking advantage of this situation, many fake manufacturers jumped in the market and started selling their fake products. But the company took timely action and started the investigation so that these kinds of fake products are seized and the makers are dealt with in accordance with the law.
