Mufti Naeem passes away aged 65

Religious scholar Mufti Naeem, chancellor and co-founder of Jamia Binoria, passed away in Karachi on Saturday evening. He was 65.
He was suffering from heart-related problems. His health condition deteriorated on Saturday evening and he passed away on his way to the hospital, his family said.
According to a spokesperson for Jamia Binoria, Mufti Naeem will be buried at the Jamia and his funeral prayers will be offered after Asr prayers on Sunday.
Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Mufti Naeem and offered his condolences to the late religious scholar's family.
Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa also express grief at the sad demise of the religious scholar and offered condolences to his family. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations, the army chief prayed for a higher place for the departed soul in Jannah.
