Pakistan and Afghanistan have reached consensus on opening the Pak-Afghan border for a day.

People will be allowed cross-border entry from 8am to 5pm. Pakistanis stranded in Spin Boldak can enter their homeland showing identity cards and passport while Afghans can get in Afghanistan via Chaman crossing.

Pakistanis will be allowed to go home after undergoing coronavirus test at the border. The cross-border movement was halted in wake Covid-19 outbreak. In April the borders were open for hundreds of stranded Pakistanis.
