3 gunned down over property dispute in Rajanpur 

Three people were gunned down during a clash between rival tribes over a land dispute in Kotli Naseer area of Rajanpur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday. 

The incident occurred near Kachi Kanal, where the Shalwani and Badani rival tribes opened fire on each other over land dispute. During the clash, three people died and three others got injured in the firing. 

The victims were identified as Farooq, Majeed and Samit of Shalwani group. After the incident, Shalwani community blocked traffic on Indus Highway at Allahabad Chowk with bodies for justice. During the road blockage, local police and personalities held talks with the protesters and assured the victim of immediate justice. 

Later the protestors clear Indus Highway for traffic and shifted the bodies to the District Hospital Rajanpur for a post-mortem. IG Punjab issues notice of triple murder and orders DPO Rajanpur to arrest the suspects involved in the firing. He said justice should be provided to the families on a priority basis.
