The funeral prayer for the veteran politician and former foreign minister Sardar Aseff Ahmad Ali was offered at his residence in Katchi Kothi, Raiwind Road, Lahore on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

A large number of people belonging to different walks of life attended the prayer, including politician Sardar Asif Nakai, Dr. Azmuddin Lakhwi, Dr. Zain Bhatti, Tariq Nisar Bajwa, Khurshid Kasuri, Mian Manzoor Wattoo, Khurram Wattoo, Mian Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman, Mian Saeed Jaleel Sharaqpuri and PTI leader Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed.   

Aseff, who remained the country’s foreign minister, had died early Friday morning. 

PPP Co-Chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari has condoled the death of Sardar Aseff Ahmad Ali.
