Working hours of the lower courts in Punjab changed

In connection with the starting of the winter season from next month, the working hours of the lower courts (civil and session courts) have been changed.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the Chief Justice (CJ) of Lahore High Court (LHC) Wednesday issued a notification in this regard.

The notification regarding the new working hours of the lower courts would be applicable from November 1 to March 31, 2022.

According to the notification, from November 1, the civil and session courts would be open from 9 am to 4 pm on Mondays and Saturdays.

Judicial working hours in the lower courts would be from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday. Lunch and prayers break would be from 1 pm to 1:30 pm.

Copies of the notification regarding the change of courts’ working hours were sent to all the concerned institutes and authorities.
