Court summons Azma Bukhari in Falak Javed case

Additional Sessions Judge Dr. Sajida Ahmed Monday heard the bail application of Falak Javed, who has been booked in a case registered by Provincial Minister Azma Bukhari through the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

According to court proceedings, the judge summoned the case record from the FIA and the complainant, Azma Bukhari, for review in the next hearing.

Falak Javed filed the bail plea through Advocate Rana Abdul Aruf, seeking relief after being sent to jail on judicial remand by a judicial magistrate.

It may be recalled that Falak Javed was earlier granted bail in a separate case related to tweets against a state institution.
