Rumors swirl about Salman Khan-starrer Tere Naam 2

Rumors began circulating that Sajid Nadiadwala was planning to produce Tere Naam 2 starring Salman Khan and was reportedly in the process of acquiring rights from the original film’s producers.

However, a media report citing highly reliable sources has rejected these rumors.

According to insiders, Sajid Nadiadwala is not associated with Tere Naam 2 in any capacity.

“Sajid believes in creating his own franchises and is not interested in acquiring films from other producers.

He is not making Tere Naam 2 with Salman Khan or any other actor at this point,” the source told Bollywood Hungama.

Tere Naam, released in the early 2000s, remains one of Salman Khan’s most iconic love stories.

Over the years, fans have speculated about a potential sequel, but the producer emphasized that a proper script is essential before considering any continuation.

“It doesn’t make sense for a sequel with Sajid Nadiadwala. He had mentioned that the launch film of his son, directed by Shashank Khataan, is as intense as Tere Naam.

However, his words were twisted, and the rumor of Tere Naam 2 spread,” the source added.

Sajid also conveyed that Tere Naam is a timeless saga of love that should remain untouched. While he maintains a strong professional relationship with Salman Khan and plans to collaborate again –possibly on projects like Kick 2 – there is no connection to Tere Naam 2.

Sajid is focused on his upcoming films, including O Romeo and his son’s debut project, leaving little room for reviving old franchises.
