Two killed in targeted shooting near Siddiq Akbar Mosque in Karachi
Two people were killed in a shooting incident near the Siddiq Akbar Mosque at Nagan Chowrangi on Monday afternoon, police said.
According to SSP Central, the attack occurred around 2 p.m. when two unidentified armed men on a motorcycle opened fire indiscriminately before fleeing the scene.
The victims died on the spot, and initial investigations suggest the incident was a case of targeted killing, the SSP added.
Police sources said that both deceased were associated with a religious group.
Law enforcement officials have cordoned off the area, collected forensic evidence, and launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the culprits.
