Funds approved for Omar Sharif’s airlifting to US
The last hitch in the airlifting of legendary actor Omar Sharif to the United States has been resolved as the Sindh government has given approval for the release of funds needed to bear the air ambulance expenses, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
Sindh Finance Department has written a letter to the Finance Division in this regard.
According to the Sindh Health Department, all funds required to bear the air ambulance cost have been approved and the federal government has also been approached for the payment of air ambulance service under the international method.
It is to be noted that the Sindh government approved Rs40 million at the request of the provincial health department.
