Twelve people were killed and 30 others injured in a horrific collision between a passenger coach and a van near Khairpur National Highway on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Rescue teams shifted the dead and the injured to the hospital. The passenger coach was coming from Multan to Karachi while the van was going from Kodheji area to Khairpur.

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed deep sorrow and grief over the traffic accident near Khairpur and said the loss of precious lives in the tragic accident is shocking.
