Heavy rain, hailstorm hit twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi

Heavy rain and hailstorm hit the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, 24NewsHD channel reported on Thursday.

The metrological department has forecast rain with strong winds and thundershowers in KP’s Chitral, Dir, Swat, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Peshawar, Waziristan, Kurram, Kohistan and Khyber.

Most parts of Punjab will experience dry and hot weather while rain with strong winds and thunder is expected in Murree, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore and Mandi Bahauddin.

Strong winds and thundershowers are expected in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan while Heavy rain is expected at some places in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.  There is a possibility of hailstorms in a few places.  The weather will remain dry and hot in most areas of Balochistan and Sindh
