DC suspended after child’s body retrieved from Musakhel well

The body of a child who was drowned in a well yesterday in Durg Karkana area of Musakhel was retrieved after 24 hours by the rescue officials and residents of the area, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

The Namaz-i-Janaza (funeral prayers) of the deceased child was offered at the place of incident Sunday morning.

While taking notice of the incident, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has suspended the Deputy Commissioner of District Musakhel.

In his tweet, Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti expressed regret over the death of the child who fell into the well in Musakhel.

The chief minister expressed his displeasure over the delay in the rescue operation.

Action will be taken against officers guilty of laxity, warned Sarfaraz Bugti.
